Hi there. My name is Nezhlya (aka Nj), and my name is Tidzhen (aka Tj). We are twin sisters who share similar facial features and our love and passion for craft and crochet as well.
Where it all started?
- NJ
We lived in a village where there was no internet yet, and the art of knitting and crochet was taught from mother to child, from cousin to cousin, etc.

One day I saw my cousin crocheting doilies and asked her if she could teach me. She gave me a hook and a book with doily patterns. I must admit that my first dollies were so curled, but I kept making them and mastering the art of crochet.
I would have never imagined that one day it would lead me here—a place where I can share my love of crochet with all of you worldwide.
As I said, I learned how to crochet when I was younger, but the actual journey of crocheting, designing, and blogging started when I gave birth to my little angel.
While searching the internet for baby toys, I came across Ravelry and saw all the fabulous crochet and knitting patterns made by talented designers. I used to spend my whole free time scrolling through Ravelry till I get the courage and bought myself a hook and a ball of yarn. My first crochet project was a bunny amigurumi (which my baby girl carried around throughout her kindergarten years). We still keep it, though.
Why and how I become pattern designer?
Well, after attempting to make a few amigurumi toys and fail (I can’t seem to make their faces cute and adorable), I tried another crochet project. I think you can guess it.
I made my first baby blanket. And afterward, I couldn’t stop crocheting them. They are my heaven, mainly crochet baby blankets. I recently started a collection of a cute themed baby blanket with appliques, and every time you send me a picture of your creations with my patterns, it just makes my day.

Hi there I am TJ.
My crochet journey started a few years after my sister has already been obsessed with crochet. In the beginning, I was reluctant as I knew how to crochet, but I have never known how much creativity and beauty it consists of.
When I was on my Erasmus exchange in Turkey (You may know that some of the words biggest yarn brands are manufactured there), my sister begs me to get and buy here some yarn. I was so uninterested that I had bought her the cheapest acrylic yarn (I didn’t know that there was a difference such as yarn weight, type, quality). I wish I have paid more attention to it back then.
When I came back home and saw all the beautiful crochet items you can make, I knew then that I would join my sister’s crew.
When we joined over our passion for crochet and craft, we created this blog. A place where we can share our patterns and design with you, learn together with our video tutorials, and have a chit-chat over crafty subjects.
By looking at the pattern, you can see the difference in our color choices. My sister loves colors, and they really suit the baby blankets she makes, but I am most definitely more nature lover, which guides my color choices in the projects. Therefore, she uses bright colors or a mix of colors. I like keeping my soft and more natural tones.
I am in love with more significant projects like afghans and crochet shawls, scarfs and she loves to design smaller projects like baby blankets and hats.
