Finishing Off (FO)
FO, leaving a long tail for closing.
Insert the plastic ball ornament into the piece.
Thread the yarn tail onto a darning needle, and working around the opening, insert the needle through the front loop only of each stitch.
Gently pull the yarn to close the gap snugly around the ornament cap, securing it in place. Fasten off and weave in the end.
