Crochet Fox Hat sizes (newborn to teen)-Free pattern
Over the years I have been crocheting I made so many animal-related crochet projects. Recently I designed a mini collection of Crochet amigurumi dolls series. Each doll had a different animal outfit. While I was writing the pattern for them I realized that the doll’s hat was the perfect size for a newborn baby! What a better coincidence, right? So I decided to crochet the actual hat itself and write up the pattern. Keep reading for some more info about my inspiration, yarn choices, or just scroll down for the free pattern.
Inspiration:
I can’t say that I get inspired by a parcticular thing or by just thinking about a project. I can never know when my imagination will go wild! I started my doll collection with a main idea of crocheting only one doll, but as I was in the proccess of making the doll I just saw a few new shades and tried different outfits. That’s how I ended up with 6 different dolls and hats.
Yarn:
I used to crochet with thinner yarns such as sport weight or DK(double knit) weight yarn but as for my last projects I am switching to worsted weight yarn. It is bulkier and quicker especially if you crochet bigger projects. And now I am addicted to my 5-6mm crochet hooks and worsted weight yarns. In this particular crochet fox hat pattern I used Bernat Premium yarn- wortsed weight acrylic yarn. You can use different brand and type of yarn just make sure that you will meet teh gauge.
