You can make a bunch of them in just a few hours. And I can bet that everyone will love them. The pattern is simple and uses only basic crochet stitches like single crochet (SC) and slip stitch (SS). You don’t need to know how to make a magic ring as we use an alternative method.
After the movie “Monster University” was released I saw more and more adorable monsters being crocheted and designed. And here is my version of the enchanted adorable monsters.

How to customize your crochet key cover?
This pattern gives you the opportunity to get creative and crochet several adorable monsters.
You can make them in various styles. Make a monster with one eye, or make it with two. Why not add one big eye and two mini eyes below? Not to mention that you can use different colors for each of them.
Crochet key cover pattern
The pattern is written in US crochet terms.
We will crochet in continuous rounds and will not join the rounds in the end.
For this pattern, I used sport-weight yarn but you can also use DK-weight yarn. Another suitable yarn for this project will be a lightweight yarn. Just make sure to use a suitable crochet hook. To have a more sturdy crochet key cover you can use a size or two smaller than the suggested on the yarn label.
I did not tie my chain on top but you can do that to prevent the chain from slipping. You can place a wooden ball as well.
Materials you”ll need
