Crochet keychain- The Grinch- free pattern
The latest post on our blog is this cute little crochet keychain- The Grinch. A small and easy project, perfect for those starting with amigurumi.

This Christmas was all about the Grinch. And I know that I am not the only one obsessed with him. This mini-project is easy and fast to make. You can make several of these in a day. We know we got a little overboard for this Christmas with all the Christmas projects but I promise this is the last one. It is better to have many options to choose from, right?
If you haven’t seen some of the Christmas patterns check them out and save or pin them to your boards for next Christmas, or if you want to always be prepared why not start making a few of them now?

A few notes before we start:
As you can see in the picture above one of the keychains is bigger. It was crocheted with a bigger hook, so if you would like to have a smaller keychain use a smaller hook that is suitable for your yarn weight.
You can use whatever yarn you have in your stash it could be cotton or acrylic. The Grinch keychain will look better if you use sport, DK, or light-worsted-weight yarn.
The pattern is written using the amigurumi method- shortcodes.
For example: *SC 1, dec 1* x5, dec 1- you should make SC 1, dec 1 then repeat this 5 more times, decrease once.

The pattern:
Materials:
DK weight yarn in green- small amount like 30 yards, small amount of black, yellow and red- a few yards for the face expression
Crochet hook size- 3.5mm
safety eyes- 8/10mm
tapestry needle
Abbreviation:
SC- single crochet
dec- decrease- make 2 single crochet together
inc- increase- make 2 single crochet in the same stitch
**- repeat the stitches in the ** indicated times
