Crochet Mini snowflake Christmas tree ornament or applique-free crochet pattern
Hi, Nj here,
crochet mini snowflake is a free, versatile pattern that you can use to decorate your Christmas tree or put on gift wrappers and Christmas cards. I used mine for our winter crochet gnome! Continue reading or scroll down for the free pattern.

Being a crocheter, we all love creating with our hands. It is such a hobby that you have endless possibilities and can make almost everything out of yarn. Making handmade decorations for your home is just one of the benefits we get from this hobby.
We are twin sisters, as some of you may know. When I started my crochet hobby, my sister didn’t have any clue about how big and wide the crochet world was. She thought that people crochet only blankets. After introducing her to my hobby, she was blown away by all the creativity and the wide range of crochet items you can make.
I love making patterns that can be repurposed with a little bit of imagination. You can use these crochet mini snowflakes as applique for blankets we used a bigger one for our Snowman Christmas blanket! Make Christmas bunting, or put them on a Christmas tree as an ornament. You can add a final touch to your gift wrapping by adding a snowflake.
We recently used this crochet mini snowflake for the first gnome of our crochet gnome along! If you love gnomes and haven’t heard of the CAL( Crochet a Long ) you must definitely check out Crochet Gnome along!
If you will use it for amigurumi, don’t forget to check our 5 amigurumi tips you must know before you start making amigurumi or to improve your skills.

Hi,
I am not sure if it is just my systems but the images are not working for this pattern or the link with the 5 tips that you must know for amigurumi.
Thankyou
Lucy
amending my commetn from above the images have since loaded. thankyou and sorry for the annoyance
Don’t worry Lucy, better to write us, so we can always check if there is a problem or not. The photos are helpful. Thanks again for your feedback!
I’m not sure if I have misread the pattern but there doesn’t seem to be enough repeats to make 6 clusters on the snow flake instructions.
We updated the pattern. Thank you for your feedback. The mistake was in the repeat number.
I’m not sure of how many stitches in the magic ring?
You must have 5 clusters and 5 chain spaces.
The photos show a 5 pointed snowflake but instructions on first round give instructions for a 6 pointed one.
You have worked the initial one then the one in * * it then says to rep from *to* 4 more times which gives 6 ?
