Crochet mini octopus in rainbow colours

The newest pattern of this year’s Crochet Amigurumi Along is the cutest mini octopus. Before I start the Amigurumi along I used to admire all the amigurumis made with plush yarn.

In the last few years it became so popular that I decided to order a bunch of colours and give it a try. What can I say it was a love at first sight 🙂

Even though some people find it hard to work with plush yarn I think it depends on the quality of the yarn. Nevertheless, if you are not a fan you can always use regular acrylic or cotton yarn.
